Happy Labor Day Weekend!

So, my first week of my last fall semester is over. I gotta say I LOVE my classes!! I'm taking an advanced pediatrics class, a sports class, a differential diagnoses class (which i'm not crazy about since i'm sortof a hypochondriac but it's with a new professor so that's always exciting- i hope), and of course working on my doctorate project. My loans-at least most of them- have come through which i'm so thankful for cause- what would i have done without them?! I'm confident the rest of them will come through too :D

This weekend promises to be an exciting one. Here are my plans:

Friday -go to fort lauderdale for the weekend
-Go to Debbie's house for bible study

Saturday -Go to church in am
-have lunch at Fe's house (my bride-to-be friend)
-hang out with my good friends

Sunday -hang out with my friends some more
-possibly perform some maid of honour duties
-JOHN MAYER concert!!! (which will only be the 3rd concert i have ever been too) yay!

Monday -to be determined (i don't have school...wonder if i have to work???)

Sun Block

I gotta tell u, this is the best sunblock i have EVER used. it's light, no weird smell, and contain all sorts of good things (click here for more info-and to order urself some). I used to use this neutrogena one but it smelled funny, sometimes got in me eyes somehow and it didn't contain all the antioxidant and moisturizers this one contains. oh and it wasn't half as light as this one. plus this one is preservative, fragrance and colorate free.

Make the change people! unless of course u have a better one???

I took a knap :) Serioulsy I'm a big sleeper. I'm pretty sure it's genetic, I come from a long line of big sleepers... Anyways, here are some pics of what i did yesterday in between school and work. It was lovely!

I had a Dream

Ok so I'm not getting ready to make a speech or anything, I dreamt that the chinese gymnastics team was stripped of their gold medal because they were all underage!! The US then (of course) stepped up to the gold!! haha SO weird huh? I was so excited...

Anyways this is gonna be a tough day. Mikey woke me up like 5 times this morning, My sister dropped of noah here at like 6:45, my mom is not feeling well and my dad is home. Help. Me.

At least i don't work, and i don't have school...oh and i might not have school ever if my loans don't come out. this economy stinks. oh oh yeah, And i hurt my left big toe and it huuuuurts.

See what kinda mood i'm in...i need my sleep.

I am a Working Woman

So my first week of working....well it was..nice. Ok so my entire body is sore from spotting a swarm of little girls- other than that I'd say it was pretty successful. It'll be nice to have a small income again (ok very small). And i forgot how fun little girls are. They r so smart and honest and funny!!! Maybe I'll learn a few things!

DR. Recap

So it's not over yet. I went to the Dr, today to get my results- i'm am so thankful to God words cannot express. Everything seems alright. there was this little thing that came out positive and the doc says it may be lupus. not the best news but we don't know yet what it may be. So prayers are welcome and requested...if there's anyone out there reading.

Things I Wanna Do

So as the weekend approaches and after my doctor escapades, I find myself particularly contemplative. I was thinking of all the things I want to do in the next couple of years, so i made a list: (in no particular order)

I figure it would be fun to scratch them of as they occur :)

-Marry the man of my dreams
-Live abroad for a year (or at least spend some time there)
-Learn to speak french
-Become a mother
-Become a US citizen
-Get my Doctorate degree
-Go on a mission trip
-Learn to sew
-decorate my own house

I'll add on as i think of more things...

Storm Watch

So here's Fay- the storm that has delayed back to school for many, and for me it has delayed my first day back at the gym for my coaching debut...er..or re-debut? So yeah, we're all at home...lots of rain...nothing to do..Thank goodness for the olympics and my computer :)

Big News

My friend Fe has asked me to be her maid of honor! WHAT! she must be nuts, i dunno what i'm doing! hehe I am very honored and will do my best of course. All of a sudden i can't stop thinking about weddings. I sent her this picture today as inspiration for her outdoor ceremony.

Back in the Gym

I can't believe this, but I may be back in the gym- coaching gymnastics at tumble bees. Funny how this comes just as gymnastics is at it's most popular...we'll see how it goes. I start monday and am only working two days a week. Need a little extra cash but can't fill my schedule too much as i am a full time graduate student.

On that note- Go Shawn Johnson, Nastia Liukin and Micheal Phelps!!!!
