Wedding- Orange Tones

Ana and Suzy decorated this wedding of course. It's simple and classic, the bride wanted lots of flowers in tones of orange. I think it came out beautiful! For other fabulous ana and suzy weddings (they really are spectacular) click here here and here

Here's a pic of the bride's bouquet and the mother of the bride boutonniere (love the big green orchids).

Anyone interested in hiring Ana and Suzy to decorate your wedding, just let me know!

Great Hotel Search

I stumbled upon this site on the internet and I love it. It's simply amazing. Once you find the hotel you want and the date, the site searches like 6 major hotel finders (expedia, orbitz, travelocity, hotels.com...) to give you the best rate! I love it. It also has options to find flights and other things but I haven't looked into that yet. Here's the site.

Fondant Cake

I made a fondant cake!! Ok so it's not real fondant, but it's pretty just the same. The recipe is super simple and tastes alright. My cake's kinda floppy but it was my first time!

I had to piece my cake together cause i didn't have a round pan (not a good idea- it shows through) and i used a brazilian chocolate cover called brigadeiro instead of butter cream underneath (also not a good idea but tastes better). Also its good idea if ur doing multiple layers to cut out a piece of cardboard under ur top cakes (i had a really hard time transferring it).

Vegan Banana Cake

I made this cake recently, except i used evaporated cane juice instead of raw sugar, whole wheat flour and left out the walnuts. I topped it off by drizzling in with honey and sprinkling it with carab chips. Also i don't like to smash up all the bananas- I find it's much better chunky. It's delicious and nutritious!

Baby Shower

Here are some pictures of my sister's baby shower I did ~2 years ago. It was rubber ducky themed and a big hit.

There was this 2 ft long clothes line garland at the store so I made my own life sized version out of the clothes we already had. Much better idea and cheaper!

Bubble bath punch with marshmallows for bubbles.

Guests painted pretty baby things on a mold of my sister's belly. This looks great on a shelf in my nephew's room.

The cake was amazing! and guests took home little bottles of bubble bath with personalized stickers.

Winter Wonderland Wedding

This was the most amazing wedding I've ever been to! It took place this past December in Fort Lauderdale. The entire decorations were done by the bride's family and my "mother in law". I'm am very lucky to be surrounded with such talent!!! They do the most amazing weddings. I will continue to post their weddings, anyone interested in hiring them for an event in the south Florida area just let me know!!

It was a magical day, at the end we all blew bubbles for an amazing effect and great pictures!

Lighting was everything here, the trees were dripping with little lights and crystals and blue lights accented the draping and the trees.

The groom actually constructed these trees out of ordered trunks and branches he picked up from the streets!!

No Tomatoes??

So, I went to Subway the other day and they did not have a single tomato! not one! Needless to say, I was very upset. My veggiemax was not the same. Anyways...I found out later it was due to a  salmonella outbreak! Never before did my disappointment so quickly melt away into gratitude!
Thanx Subway! and hurry back tomato!

Under My Umbrella

My sister gave me this umbrella a couple of years ago and i love it!! i recently shared the good deed with a friend and bought her one for her b-day. I heartedly recommend it- keeps the hair dry on rainy days with the added benefit of unobstructed views! Get it here.

Safe under my umbrella on a rainy day :)

Too cool for school

I bought these for my boyfriend recently (with the last bit of mula I had). They are the coolest chucks EVER! and 10% of the proceeds go to a good cause!!

Comfy Shoes!

I'm all about comfort, and since father's day is right around the corner..what a perfect gift!! (not that i can afford ANYTHING right now)  These are available here
